In 2009, Security Seed began investing in fertilizer terminals to better service existing Security Seed geographies. Located on the shore of the Cumberland River in Clarksville Tennessee, Security Seed has built state of the art fertilizer delivery systems that best support a terminal to farm strategy. This strategy is a cornerstone of their fertilizer philosophy of offering easily accessible port sites to support the growers crop nutrition needs. In 2014, a second terminal was opened located in Henderson Kentucky on the Ohio River.
The Liquid Fertilizer UAN terminals in Clarksville and Henderson allow the grower to load 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Both 32% and 28% are available along with multiple combinations of Stabilizers and other nutrient additives that the customer may need.
The dry fertilizer facility in Clarksville is designed to quickly load 25 ton loads of single product or blended materials in less than 10 minutes. At the Clarksville Terminal, efficiency fertilizer additives and micro nutritional products are available to enhance fertilizer availability to growing crops.
